Do Community MOBILIZERs have scripts to follow with their contacts?

We will provide recommended language to give Community Mobilizers strategies and information to use in their conversations, but we do not have an exact script for them as we encourage them to approach the conversation in the way they usually would with that friend/family member.

What if my friends are already planning to vote?

Even if your friends are already voters, it’s still important to reach out to them about this election. There are a lot of reasons why people sometimes miss an election or don't fill out a section on their ballot, and having a support structure of friends and neighbors makes it easier. Also, the best part of relational organizing is that the networks can be reactivated in the future. Organizing your friends as part of this election effort will help you organize them again when it comes time to take action on issues that are important in your community. You can also get them involved by inviting and recruiting their friends to be a part of the Community Mobilizer program!

What if my friends ask me questions about voting that I don’t know the answer to?

We will have resources for our Community Mobilizers that will include information about when the polls are open, how people can learn more about what’s on their ballot, and where to go if they need help getting to their polling location. Your Manager will be your contact for that and any other questions that you may have.
